Design upgrade for the Schl\u00f6rwagen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NEgg project kicked off with the reconstruction of the \u201cSchl\u00f6rwagen\u201d, a prototype aerodynamic passenger vehicle developed by Karl Schl\u00f6r, dating back to 1939. A 1\/5 model of the so-called \u201cG\u00f6ttinger Egg\u201d had to be rebuilt for PS.SPEICHER, using old drawings and photographs, and Poschwatta Automotive was commissioned with developing the required surface data. Inspired by this aerodynamic vehicle as well as current electric and car-sharing projects, the Poschwatta Automotive company opted for a forward-looking design upgrade for the Schl\u00f6rwagen. The vehicle geometry was reconfigured, the reconstructed external shell was subtly scaled up and new mouldings were modelled.
