EU Truck<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

IAV is an innovative engineering service provider that also specializes in the development of trucks and focuses on the issues of CO2 reduction, climate neutrality, vehicle and traffic safety, networking and logistics. In order to communicate various development topics, concepts and components that have already been developed, IAV worked with Poschwatta Automotive to develop two of its own, brand-free future trucks \u2013 one for the European market, one for the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the European model, the focus was on safety. New guidelines in Europe will give trucks an additional front section of up to 90 cm in the future. This new specification creates a large overhang, which Poschwatta Automotive concealed with strong curves as the main feature. Technically, this provides better airflow, i.e. better aerodynamics, which Poschwatta Automotive elevated to the core theme of the entire design. The windscreen became flatter and was also given a radial feature as a continuation of the front section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aerodynamic design is a consistent theme from the front, over the roof and the sides, to the trailer, which has also been redesigned. A small gap, surfaces that are sealed as far as possible and have intelligent air openings and fully integrated functional components truly make this a truck of the future, both technically and formally. The surrounding light strip, which shapes the front of the truck as a driving and position light, has marking and communication functions on the sides and goes on to form the rear lights at the back, graphically underlining the 3-dimensional design of the IAV truck.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
