TOURER CUV

At Caravan-Salon 2022 in Düsseldorf, Knaus unveiled a new class of motorhomes, the TOURER CUV.

It combines the maneuverability of the Urban class when driving with the space of compact semi-integrated models.

Poschwatta Automotive designed the exterior for this innovative caravan, including all the molded parts, to link the VW T6.1 base with the functional straight walls of the top structure.

Poschwatta Automotive designed a new apron profile for a harmonious transition from the cab to the rear section, which picks up on the sill contour of the cab and takes it on to the new rear light holder. The cat’s eye lights, which PA has brought together in one light unit with an LED strip, play the leading role in this. The fender as the transition from the cab to the side wall also picks up on the design themes of the cab, giving the CUV the appearance of a harmonious structure combining the front of the vehicle and the back. The highlight of the Tourer CUV, however, is its elevating roof which, with its unique overhang, its short rear spoiler with integrated brake light and camera and its ability to open completely vertically represents an absolute innovation in the caravan segment.
