Working closely with REHAU, Poschwatta has combined the complex content into one design to develop a fully functional demonstrator. The challenges here were the representation of the comprehensive kinematic assembly groups such as the 2-part tailgate, the retractable aerodynamic elements and a moveable loading floor – elements which are operated via app or sensors – and above all the integration of the complex lighting themes. Here, in addition to transparent paintwork and the thinnest possible LED strips in moving components, the focus was on the flexible OLED films and their production-ready representation. Poschwatta developed a special OLED module that confidently uses and displays the properties of the illuminated film. What arose was backlighting with optical depth and a unique aesthetic, embedded in the “multitude” in a synchronous architecture.
